THE EMPIRE STATE OF USA GYMNASTICS

NYS Gymnastics strives every year to select the best combination of judging officials for every level at our multiple State Championships. 

In an effort to include the input from our full state membership we hold an election for each State Championship and ask our active professional members

to vote on the officials they would like to see on the competition floor for each respective level. 

The results of the voting election is taken into heavy consideration by the NYS Committee for each individual State Championship. 

Judges may officiate at as many State Championships as the NYS Committee deems necessary. 

There is not a maximum of State Championships for each judging official. 

The NYS Committee has the best interest of the membership and athletes at hand and has the right to designate the judging officials at each State Championship. 

Judging officials on the NYS Committee are not involved in the selection process.
